Travel Update: Vietnam Health Declaration Rules Explained

Planning a trip to Vietnam? Here’s the latest information travelers should know:
✅ As of July 1, 2026, travelers are not required to complete a health declaration before entering Vietnam.
Health declarations will only be introduced again if the Ministry of Health determines that additional measures are necessary due to a specific infectious disease situation.
If that happens:
• Travelers may be asked to complete the declaration either online or using a paper form.
• The declaration would need to be submitted within 7 days before arrival, departure, or transit through Vietnam.
